Article 33: Disability Rights in Aotearoa New Zealand - Media Report

This report is an analysis of the portrayal of disabled New Zealanders by the New Zealand media, following the ratification of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in 2008.

This project was supported by the New Zealand Government through the Ministry of Social Development and administered by the New Zealand Convention Coalition Monitoring Group, a collaboration of New Zealand Disabled People’s Organisations. One of the members, Disabled Persons Assembly (New Zealand) Incorporated, acted as administrative fund-holder on behalf of the other Disabled People’s Organisations.
