DRPI Bolivia

Welcome to DRPI Bolivia. A training seminar for monitors and site coordinators was held in Santa Cruz from July 14-20, 2008. Interviews are now being conducted with people with disabilities in four monitoring sites: Santa Cruz (urban), Provincia Obispo Santistevan (rural), La Paz (urban) and Provincia El Alto (rural) and should be completed by mid-October, 2008. The coding and analysis of monitoring data will be led by members of the Confederación Boliviana de Personas con Discapacidad with the assistance of professors and students from Nur University, Santa Cruz. The final report, entitled Monitoring the Human Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Bolivia, is now available
