Facilitator Overview
Introduction
This module will allow participants to implement the information learned about human rights monitoring into situations that are important to the group.
Description
- Assist participants to break into small groups based on interest in an economic, social or cultural rights issue to be reported to the UN. Each group can brainstorm ways which they could bring their identified issue to the UN, using both personal experience and the information provided through the guide. (30 minutes)
- Ask groups to report to the larger group with their conclusions, discussing the kinds of strategies they have developed for reporting. Reporting can be followed with discussion to provide further information and insight. (30 minutes)

Activity: Identification of Issue
Part A:
As a group decide how participants would like to divide into smaller groups. In your smaller groups you will have the next 30 minutes to identify an issue you want to report and possible strategies to bring this information to the United Nations human rights monitoring system.

- Possible ways to bring information to UN human rights monitoring system
Part B: Group Reporting

As a larger group, you will have an additional 30 minutes to discuss and report back on what you have come up with in your small group.
